LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A 4.7-magnitude earthquake shook Southern California Monday morning.
The tremor struck at 6:25 a.m. and was epicentered in Westwood, the USGS said.
Residents reported feeling the shaking from Santa Clarita to Lynwood and beyond.
Metro reported that minor delays could be expected Monday.
Note: There has been a large uptick in earthquakes in the past 24 hours. The Peru/Chile region is still rumbling after last night's 7.0. Let's hope this LA quake is not a precursor for something larger! Will update as needed.
