SOLAR UPDATE-November 5, 2013

via Solar Ham

Added 11/5/2013 @ 09:55 UTCEruption and CME
Solar activity increased to moderate levels on Tuesday morning with an impulsive M2.5 solar flare around sunspot 1890 at 08:18 UTC. This appears to be in conjunction with an eruption in the southeast quadrant that generated a coronal mass ejection (CME) now visible in the latest LASCO C2 imagery. So far it appears the plasma cloud is heading mostly towards the south. Click HERE for a video by SDO. More updates to follow if necessary
